Jacksonville Jaguars at New Orleans Saints
- Start time: 8:15 p.m. ET

New Orleans has ridden quite the rollercoaster of success and disappointment this season. While sitting at 3-3 and tied for second in the NFC South, the Saints have let a few games go due to a familiar foe, a lackluster offense.

The offseason acquisition of QB Derek Carr was supposed to upgrade the offensive production. However, the offense doesn’t look much different from last season. While RB Alvin Kamara has added some positives to the group, they’ve struggled the past two weeks.
The Saints have scored on 28.1% of their offensive drives since Week 17 of the 2022 season, the fifth-worst in the NFL. While Jacksonville has had its struggles, the Jaguars’ defense has allowed opponents to score on 25.3% of drives in the same time frame, the third-best rate in the NFL.
Getting Kamara more involved in the passing game could help the Saints offense give the top-tier defense some help tonight. Kamara has 32 receiving yards per game since 2022. The Jaguars defense has allowed opposing RBs 44.2 receiving yards per game, the worst in the NFL. Since last season, Jacksonville has allowed 2,879 yards after the catch, the fourth-most in the league.
Will the Saints dynamic back finally have a breakout game in 2023, or will the Saints’ offense struggle to keep up with the Jaguars in the NFL game tonight?
