As the 2024 NFL season gets started, a unique situation has presented itself. For the first time ever, the league will be playing a game in Brazil. However, that is not the only unique element of this game, it is also streaming exclusively on Peacock. In fact, Peacock will carry three of the four prime-time games for Week 1 of the 2024 season: Thursday Night Football, Friday Night Football, and Sunday Night Football.

Where Can I Find Peacock Football Viewing?
Founded in April 2020, Peacock was NBC’s answer to the blossoming streaming world. Starting with the 2021 season, Sunday Night Football and NBC playoff games were simulcast on both NBC and Peacock.
Early last year, the NFL and Peacock reached an agreement to give Peacock the exclusive rights to two NFL games, one in the regular season and one in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs. The deal was groundbreaking, as it marked the first time in NFL history a postseason game will be broadcast exclusively on a streaming service.
Peacock carried their first exclusive game in the regular season. The Buffalo Bills took on the Los Angeles Chargers two days before Christmas, culminating in a nail-biter — the Bills won 24-22. The AFC clash averaged 7.3 million viewers and had its crescendo at 8.4 million.
Next on the exclusive list: The Wild Card matchup between the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs in subzero temperatures. A second-half shutdown allowed the Chiefs to coast to a comfortable 26-7 victory en route to Kansas City’s second consecutive Super Bowl.
A Peacock premium subscription, which is what’s needed to watch the game, costs $7.99 a month. However, according to NBC, Peacock is offering new subscribers 50% off a year’s subscription to Peacock Premium.
It normally costs $60 annually but could be purchased at $30 for a limited time, which breaks down to just about $2.50 per month.
Additionally, students can get Peacock Premium for $1.99 for 12 months. To get the deal, you will need an annual student verification. On top of being able to watch the game, you will also be able to see 80,000+ hours of television and movies, as well as current NBC and Bravo programming and Peacock originals.

An added benefit of Peacock’s exclusive NFL games is a decrease in commercials. The entire fourth quarter of the game will air commercial-free, giving fans an additional 12 minutes of game coverage. This decision reduces total ads in the game by 40%.
If fans do not want to purchase Peacock, some local bars and restaurants might feature the game as well. NBC partnered with EverPass Media earlier this season to provide games to commercial businesses. If a business uses DIRECTV, however, they would have to sign up separately.
