Kelce may have taken “pep in the step” a little too far during his reunion tour in Philadelphia as the Eagles took on the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football. Is he doing a step aerobics routine, or is he dancing? We investigate.

We start off with some “lean back.” I thought momentarily he might bust out the Bernie that we haven’t seen in quite a while with that torso angle. But notice the measured, deliberate steps taken — hallmarks of a step aerobics routine. By my estimation, the upper half of his body is dancing, but the bottom half is absolutely doing aerobics. With it 50/50, we’re nowhere closer to an answer. Let’s dive further.
The transition to running in place is a dead giveaway of an aerobics routine. While aerobics and dancing can occasionally blur the lines, running in place has limited aesthetics — it’s all in the cardio. Chances are he’s feeling winded already. Thankfully, the chain he is wearing didn’t pop him in the chin during this very evident exercise.
Just when I was ready to conclude that Kelce was fairly certainly doing aerobics, you see a traditional two-step. The gyrations are reminiscent of a young Carlton Banks, and some snapping fingers would have solidified the Carlton. We can only speculate about Kelce’s inspiration here, but Banks’ cousin Will did grow up on the west side of Philadelphia.
