CINCINNATICincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins will make his season debut tonight against the Washington Commanders, but two other starters are inactive.

Defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins was ruled out Saturday with a hamstring injury, while fellow starting defensive tackle B.J. Hill, who was listed as doubtful with a hamstring ailment, also is inactive.

Both players suffered their injuries in last week’s 26-25 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Who Are the Inactives for Cincinnati Bengals vs. Washington Commanders?

In Week 2, Zach Carter and Jay Tufele were the only active defensive tackles remaining, forcing the Bengals to move edge rusher Sam Hubbard inside for several snaps.

Subsequently, the team signed veteran Lawrence Guy on Tuesday. He is expected to be active tonight against the Commanders.

Cincinnati is also getting a boost with the return of rookie Kris Jenkins Jr. The second-round pick injured his thumb in the days leading up to the season opener.

Jenkins, listed as questionable, had surgery on Sept. 6 and is active tonight. He will make his NFL debut while playing with his right hand heavily wrapped.

The Bengals also elevated defensive tackle Domenique Davis from the practice squad earlier today.

Safety Vonn Bell missed practice Friday and Saturday with a back injury and was listed as questionable, but he is active.

Also ruled out for Monday’s game is tight end Tanner Hudson, who injured his knee in the Week 1 loss to the New England Patriots and has only practiced once since.
