Week 9 UFL Schedule: Complete List of Football Games on Today With TV Channels, Start Times, and More

Who goes head-to-head in the Week 9 UFL schedule? Here are all the matchups this weekend, as well as the start time, channels, and more.

We’re coming down to the wire as the UFL reaches Week 9 of the 2024 season. Who will be the leader in each division? Here’s who goes head-to-head on the Week 9 UFL schedule.

While the Birmingham Stallions have just about wrapped things up in the USFL conference, the St. Louis Battlehawks and San Antonio Brahmas are still in a battle for the top of the XFL Conference.

The D.C. Defenders’ loss to the Battlehawks in Week 8 eliminated them from playoff contention, while the Brahmas squeaked past the Arlington Renegades to secure their playoff berth. Who will get the upper hand in the XFL conference and home-field advantage on their quest for the UFL championship trophy?

Here are all the Week 9 UFL schedule matchups, including start times, channels, and more.

Who Faces Off in the Week 9 UFL Schedule?

Week 9 kicks off in Texas. On Saturday, at noon ET, St. Louis will travel to Choctaw Stadium to take on the Renegades. The action stays in the Lonestar State as the Stallions head to The Alamodome for a tilt with the Brahmas.

Sunday’s UFL action features a 2:30 p.m. ET doubleheader. The Memphis Showboats host the Defenders at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium, while the Michigan Panthers head to Rice Stadium to face off against the Houston Roughnecks.

Here’s a look at the Week 9 UFL Schedule.

St. Louis Battlehawks at Arlington Renegades

  • Date: Saturday, May 25, 2024
  • Start time: Noon ET
  • Channel: ABC

Week 9 begins in Arlington as the Renegades face off against the Battlehawks. Despite the injuries under center for St. Louis, the Battlehawks keep rolling with losses against the UFL’s best. The Battlehawks will turn to Manny Wilkins under center again as UFL MVP candidate AJ McCarron is still recovering from an ankle injury.

Meanwhile, despite continuous positive performances from the offense, the Renegades have found countless ways to lose this season. Luis Perez has been among the best signal callers in the league but lacks the support from the rest of Arlington’s squad to turn his dazzling performances into wins. Arlington has fallen quite a bit after its championship run last year.

Birmingham Stallions at San Antonio Brahmas

  • Date: Saturday, May 25, 2024
  • Start time: 3 p.m. ET
  • Channel: ABC

The next Week 9 matchup sees San Antonio hosting the red-hot Stallions who have yet to lose a game this season. Will they be able to finish 2024 undefeated? They take on an opponent they’ve never seen before but has faced its fair share of struggles this season.

The Brahmas have weathered the injury bug all season, but head coach Wade Phillips has led his team to a 6-2 victory despite the struggles. San Antonio activated starting QB Chase Garbers from injured reserve this week. However, Quinten Dormady will likely start under center as Garbers reacquaints himself with the pace of play. Expect another big John Lovett game.

Meanwhile, Stallions QB Adrian Martinez is heating up at the right time. The UFL MVP candidate was responsible for all five touchdowns against the Roughnecks in Week 8. Birmingham is on a roll, and it will take quite the performance to take them down.

D.C. Defenders at Memphis Showboats

  • Date: Sunday, May 26, 2024
  • Start time: 2:30 p.m. ET
  • Channel: Fox

Sunday’s UFL action features a mid-afternoon doubleheader of meaningless games. The Defenders saw their postseason dreams end last week as St. Louis scored a touchdown late in the fourth quarter to seal the game. With too many up-and-down performances, the Defenders came up short one too many times, with the Brahmas and Battlehawks duking it out for first.

Meanwhile, the Showboats are ready for the inaugural season of the UFL to end. After a Week 1 victory, Memphis has lost seven straight. Case Cookus‘ season has not looked like his previous spring football stints, and the offense could see a bit more Josh Love under center as the season comes to a close. Here’s to 2025 and some much-needed roster tweaks for both squads.

Michigan Panthers at Houston Roughnecks

  • Date: Sunday, May 26, 2024
  • Start time: 2:30 p.m. ET
  • Channel: Fox

The other matchup in Week 9’s Sunday afternoon doubleheader sees the Panthers taking on the Roughnecks. There is a slight chance the Panthers could be first in the USFL Conference standings. However, they need the Stallions to do something they haven’t done twice in over a year: lose. While possible, Michigan will likely head to Birmingham for the conference championship.

Meanwhile, the Roughnecks will be looking for improvements with postseason aspirations long gone. QB Nolan Henderson showed some promise in his snaps a week ago, and a combination of him and Reid Sinnett showed promise as Houston scored a season-high 28 points.

With the Panthers employing their two-QB strategy with Brian Lewerke and Bryce Perkins, who knows what exciting things could happen in this matchup? However, expect Michigan to continue to lean heavily on RB Matt Colburn as they survive their quarterback woes.
