Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill has risen to stardom as one of the NFL’s most explosive wide receivers. He became known for his speed, earning the nickname “Cheetah,” and has struck fear in opposing defenses for his playmaking ability.
Hill began dating Lakeeta Vaccaro, also known as Keeta Vaccaro, in 2018 before proposing to her in 2021 and later marrying her in November 2023. The couple is going strong despite rumors of a divorce after Hill filed for a postnup. So, let’s delve into Hill’s personal life as we get to know more about his wife, Lakeeta.
Keeta Vaccaro’s Texas Roots
Vaccaro was born on Feb. 14, 1996, to Ken and Alesia Vaccaro in Brownwood, Texas. Unfortunately, Alesia became a single mother when Lakeeta’s father passed away in 2007 due to emphysema. Since then, Alesia has taken care of the family and helped them through hardship.
Despite their struggles, Alesia managed to raise her four children: sons Kevin and Kenny and daughters Ashley and Lakeeta. All of her children attended Brownwood High School before pursuing higher education. Lakeeta moved to Miami, while the others graduated from the University of Texas.
Interestingly, all of Alesia’s children were involved in sports and fitness in one way or another.
Lakeeta’s twin sister Ashley is a fashion enthusiast and model but was a basketball player during her school days. She is also Lakeeta’s business partner at Own Flow and The Own Label.
Lakeeta was part of her school’s sprint team, winning medals in the 300m and 400m relay.
Meanwhile, her brother Kevin played safety in college before pursuing a career in videography and later joined his brother Kenny at The Kollective.
Lakeeta’s older brother, Kenny, was exceptional and gifted. He excelled both academically and athletically. Not only did he receive straight A’s in school, but he also performed well in competitions like the Spelling Bee. He played soccer and later joined the NFL, retiring in 2020.
Following her athletic background, Lakeeta pursued a degree in physical therapy from the University of Miami, graduating in 2020. Now, Keeta is a social media influencer and entrepreneur known for her advocacy work in mental health and wellness. She is also passionate about philanthropy, co-founding the Vaccaro Foundation with her brother. Vaccaro uses her platform to promote healthy living and social causes.
Congratulations go to Vaccaro and Hill, as they are expecting a child! Lakeeta is seven months into the pregnancy and hopefully the rest of it goes as quickly as her husband’s 40-yard-dash time.
Tyreek Hill and Keeta Vaccaro: The Proposal and Wedding
According to TMZ, marriage court documents were filed in Travis County, Texas, in November 2023. The couple likely took advantage of the Dolphins’ bye week during the 2023 season, with Hill likely having the most time off during then.

When Hill got down on one knee at the couple’s Fourth of July party in 2021, there weren’t just fireworks between them when the wide receiver popped the question. Hill didn’t leave any stone unturned, going so far as to schedule an elaborate fireworks display to go off as soon as Vaccaro said “yes.”
The Dolphins’ WR totally shocked Vaccaro. Unbeknownst to her, Hill was in cahoots with the couple’s event planner behind the scenes.

Hill was also sure to tell TMZ that he only has the best for his girl.
“She’s definitely got the most diamonds, man. We made sure of that, you know what I’m saying?”
Vaccaro had a huge rock on her finger in the shape of a square diamond with a diamond halo and a pavé band. He wanted to make his Super Bowl ring look small in comparison.
Was Hill able to top both rings on the couple’s wedding day?
