“He Looks Like a Vending Machine” – Tyreek Hill Has Bizarre Comparison for Newly Acquired Chase Claypool

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill is known for his personality, and that shined through once again when he described his new teammate in an unusual way.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill certainly has an interesting personality. From his elaborate touchdown celebrations to his funny moments on social media or one of his gamer streams, he never ceases to entertain. Hill has always been unapologetically himself, and it is a breath of fresh air to see a player just be themselves despite the spotlight they may be in.

Earlier this week, the charismatic wideout showed another instance of his unique personality, this time while talking to the media. When Hill was asked about his newest wide receiver teammate Chase Claypool, Hill gave an answer to describe Claypool in a way that only he could and left many of those who saw and heard it asking what he meant.

From the current NFL standings to team depth charts to coverage of every game in the 18-week NFL schedule, we have all the news from around the league to keep you up to speed!

Tyreek Hill Has Bizarre Comparison for Chase Claypool

Claypool has been in the news a lot lately and, as a result, has found himself on his third team in two seasons. Now that he is in Miami looking for a fresh start and a chance to reprove himself, it looks as if his new teammates are getting acclimated to their new teammate.

“He’s a big dude. What’s crazy is he looks like a vending machine out there when he’s running.” While the comment can be perceived in many different ways, one has to believe it was a term of endearment from Hill to his new teammate.

On pure size, one could understand why Hill may feel that way, as they are polar opposites playing the same position. Hill is listed at 5’10” and 185 pounds, while Claypool is listed at 6’4″ and 238 pounds. It is clear that Hill sees a Claypool as a big-bodied piece added to the room that can bring another dynamic to the room they can use to attack defenses with this season.

Hill Continues To Impress

The Dolphins are one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL, and it all starts with Hill. With the combination of head coach Mike McDaniel’s play-calling and Hill’s unique ability and speed, the Dolphins have been able to have their way with opposing defense all season long. Through the first five games of the season, Hill has tallied 36 receptions, 651 yards, and five touchdowns.

Hill is on a historic pace and is the main focal point of a very fast and talented offensive attack that features speed at every turn. Adding Claypool to the mix will add a different element to this offense they have not been able to tap into yet, and if he is able to correct the course of his career, it could be just another cog in this well-oiled machine that is the Dolphins offense.
