Miami-Dade police have released the body cam video of their incident with Tyreek Hill, which shows how a dispute over how far Hill needed to open his window quickly escalated into them pulling the Miami Dolphins receiver from his car by his head.
As Hill tried to reason with police, they cuffed him while he was facedown on the street and then later took him to the ground from behind.

A portion of the video is available below.
After police pulled Hill over in the shadow of Hard Rock Stadium, they approached his vehicle. He rolled the window the whole way down at first, and immediately the exchange became contentious.
The officer asks why Hill doesn’t have his seatbelt on. Hill asks why the cop knocked on his window “like that.”
After Hill gives him his license, he rolls his window back up. The police officer instructs him to roll it back down. Hill cracks it but not far enough, and the cops immediately instruct him to get out of his car.

Hill is slow to get out, so one of the cops opens the door and drags him out by his head. They then pin him to the ground and cuff him.
While restraining him, a cop yells at him, “When we tell you to do something, you do it. … You’re a little f—ing confused.”
The officer then tells Hill he’s taking him to jail.
“Stop crying,” he adds.
After getting Hill to his feet, they move him to the curb, where they instruct him to sit down.
“Hold on. I just had surgery on my knee,” he tells them.
One officer then takes him to the ground with his arm around the top of Hill’s chest.
“You’re going to have surgery on your ears,” the officer then said.
