The 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl is here and brings a talented group of prospects with it. This wide receiver class is as good as it has ever been, and there are so many tantalizing prospects headed down to Mobile.

This year’s wide receiver class delivers some of the best playmakers in college football over the last season.
Here’s how those WRs stack up against one another at this stage of their prospective NFL Draft journey.
1) Ladd McConkey, Georgia
Ladd McConkey is on the smaller side, but good luck covering him in the open field. He’s a tremendous route-runner with better athleticism than he gets credit for. McConkey can also do some damage in the open field after the catch. He should easily rip through drills in Mobile and keep his stock pointed sky high.
2) Roman Wilson, Michigan
Coming off of a national championship win, Roman Wilson elevated his stock plenty by making big plays when called upon on a truly memorable run. He’ll be ready to put on a show down in Mobile with smooth route-running ability and fantastic acceleration downfield. His stock should skyrocket coming out of the Senior Bowl.
3) Jacob Cowing, Arizona
Jacob Cowing will have to show off his ability to beat press coverage in these drills at the Senior Bowl, but he is dynamite on the field. Cowing boasts ridiculous speed and gets open routinely, but his small stature might keep him as a slot-only weapon. How he handles run blocking will also be a key part of his evaluation.
4) Malachi Corley, Western Kentucky
Maybe the wide receiver with the most to prove, Malachi Corley‘s projection will hinge a lot on what he can show off during Senior Bowl practice.

A pure slot receiver at Western Kentucky, Corley was rarely targeted on anything deep or even intermediate, so his ability to win those routes is key. Like Cowing, can he separate from press coverage during 1-on-1 drills in Mobile?
5) Xavier Legette, South Carolina and Devontez Walker, North Carolina
I’m semi-cheating and putting both of these players in the same spot because they are both incredibly similar. Both Xavier Legette and Devontez Walker are excellent deep threats who win vertically with great speed and a knack for making tough catches.
However, they both have the same question marks about their ability to do more than that, especially at the intermediate levels. Demonstrating they can win on release and beat tight coverage in drills will be their first big hurdle to cross this draft season. It all starts at the Senior Bowl.
