Top 2025 NFL Draft Prospects in the MAC

Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Bowling Green

Harold Fannin Jr. is not only a top MAC prospect, but he could be one of the better tight ends in the 2025 NFL Draft.

A former receiver, Fannin’s energetic motion, spatial awareness, and body control all translate in the receiving phase, wherein he logged 44 catches for 623 yards and six touchdowns in 2023. And despite being lighter at 6’4″, 230 pounds, he blocks with urgency and sound technique.

Jacob Gideon, OL, Western Michigan

Jacob Gideon has a full season of starting experience at guard, but he’s shifted to center late in his Western Michigan career with inspiring results. At the very least, he’ll be a coveted depth lineman, but at 6’2″, 295 pounds, Gideon’s upside at the fulcrum is undeniable.

Antario Brown, RB, Northern Illinois

Every so often, there’s a lower-conference volume back who breaks out as an NFL player. Antario Brown has a chance to be that player in 2025. The 5’10”, 219-pound back accumulated 1,296 yards and 10 scores on just 214 carries in 2023.

Maxen Hook, S, Toledo

Maxen Hook was a starter as early as 2021, and he’s now morphed into a do-it-all safety for the Rockets. Twice in his career, Hook has eclipsed three tackles for loss, and in 2023, he logged three interceptions. At 6’0″, 204 pounds, he’s both physical and instinctive.

Marion Lukes, RB, Central Michigan

At 5’9″, 210 pounds, Marion Lukes has decent size to work with — but his calling card is his full-field vision and high-level instincts at and beyond the second level. With his speed, bend, and impressive spatial awareness, Lukes consistently carves his way to big gains.

Ty Wise, LB, Miami (OH)

A hybrid linebacker, Ty Wise is a certified playmaker. He’s coming off a 2023 season that saw him amass 122 tackles, eight sacks, nine TFLs, an interception, and five pass breakups. Explosiveness and range are two of Wise’s strengths, and he’s now up to 249 pounds ahead of the season.

Jordan Oladokun, CB, Bowling Green

Jordan Oladokun was a cornerback, safety, and wide receiver in high school. Predictably, he’s developed into a ball hawk on the defensive side of the ball, boasting four INTs in 2023. At around 6’0″, 190 pounds, Oladokun makes it his business to pester receivers.

Alex Adams, WR, Akron

A deep sleeper, Alex Adams started his career as part of a deep LSU wideout rotation. Then, after transferring to Akron in 2022, he broke out with 63 catches for 856 yards and nine scores. At 6’0″, 196 pounds, Adams has the athletic background worth tracking.

Donte Kent, CB, Central Michigan

There’s a correlation between ball production at the lower levels and success among late-round and priority free agent prospects at cornerback.

Donte Kent fits that profile. Since 2021, he’s amassed 36 pass breakups, using his stinginess and vertical speed to his advantage.

Terion Stewart, RB, Bowling Green

One more deep sleeper RB to know in the MAC: Terion Stewart.

At 5’9″, 216 pounds, Stewart is dense and well-leveraged. Though he doesn’t have great long speed, he’s explosive, and his mix of balance, smooth motion, and urgency makes him tough to stop.
