Top 2025 NFL Draft Prospects in the AAC

Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina

Shavon Revel is the top AAC prospect on PFN’s Big Board to enter the season. In fact, he has a first-round grade. At 6’2″, 188 pounds, Revel is a rare athlete with a devastating blend of speed, explosiveness, twitch, and fluidity, and he’s aggressive in all phases.

Byrum Brown, QB, South Florida

If you’re looking for a massive sleeper in the 2025 NFL Draft quarterback class, Byrum Brown might be your man. There’s still room for him to grow on the operational side, but the 6’3″, 218-pound redshirt sophomore has electric athleticism and a live, elastic arm.

De’Corian Clark, WR, UTSA

De’Corian Clark was on track to be drafted before tearing his ACL, MCL, and LCL late in 2022. He played sparingly in 2023 before undergoing a second surgery. Now, the 6’2″, 214-pound wide receiver is on a mission to remind NFL teams of his big-play ability and hand strength.

Patrick Jenkins, DT, Tulane

A former TCU transfer, Patrick Jenkins has amassed 8.5 sacks and 20.5 tackles for loss in two years at Tulane. In 2023, he notched career highs in both categories.

At almost 6’2″, 297 pounds, he’s a sawed-off disruptor with stellar initial burst and unhinged tenacity.

Joe Evans, DT, UTSA

A former LSU commit, Joe Evans has found his place as a nose tackle for UTSA. Though his technique and stamina can still improve, the 6’2″, 344-pound lineman is built to hold the line at 0-tech, and he flashes impressive pass-rushing athleticism for his size.

Roc Taylor, WR, Memphis

A particularly tools-rich lower-conference prospect to keep an eye on is Roc Taylor. A 6’2″, 222-pound weapon with 40-time estimates in the mid-4.4 range, Taylor has the size and speed to win the allure of scouts, and he eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark in 2023.

Dontae Balfour, CB, Charlotte

A former highly touted signee for the North Carolina Tar Heels, Dontae Balfour transferred to Charlotte and had a resurgence in 2023, amassing a pick, 11 pass breakups, and two forced fumbles. He’s lighter at 6’0″, 177 pounds, but Balfour has vertical speed and ball skills.

Mario Anderson Jr., RB, Memphis

One of many backs with pro potential to pass through the halls at South Carolina in recent years, Mario Anderson Jr. has transferred to Memphis to receive a starting role. At around 5’8″, 200 pounds, Anderson is explosive, compact, and well-leveraged, despite lacking speed.

Winston Wright Jr., WR, East Carolina

Winston Wright Jr. has been productive before. At West Virginia in 2021, Wright caught 63 passes for 688 yards and five touchdowns. Injuries have gotten in the way in recent years, but now at ECU, the 5’9″, 187-pound pass catcher will be able to show off his quickness.

Seth Henigan, QB, Memphis

Coming off a strong season in which he passed for almost 4,000 yards, 32 touchdowns, and just nine interceptions, Seth Henigan has his fans as a deep sleeper. Though his arm is average at best, he’s reasonably mobile, accurate, and tough as a competitor.
