Tom Brady, Travis Scott, and Michael Rubin Mentoring Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, and Others

Rookie QBs Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, Anthony Richardson, and Will Levis got a crash course in how to thrive off the field from three successful individuals.

Four months have passed since the GOAT announced his retirement. Tom Brady crafted the most storied and iconic career in NFL — and arguably sports — history. Since then, the 45-year-old has wasted no time building a post-retirement career. He is now a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, will join Fox Sports as a color commentator in 2024, and has been busy assisting the next wave of young talented quarterbacks.

Tom Brady, Travis Scott, and Michael Rubin Mentor Rookie QBs

Recently Brady and award-winning artist Travis Scott met up with the top rookie quarterbacks Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, Anthony Richardson, and Will Levis. The pair attended a luncheon hosted by Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin. The three sat down with the rookies to educate them on the importance of business, branding, and more.

“Incredible lunch with @TomBrady and @trvisXX talking to our @Fanatics athletes @_bryce_young@CJ7STROUD@will_levis and @GVOaant about building their careers on and off the field!” Rubin revealed via Twitter. “Thank you, Tommy and Trav — what a great discussion!! Can’t wait to watch my guys kill it in football and business!”

Of course, Brady has been equally successful in his off-field adventures as he has been on the field. Brady has launched and co-founded several successful companies over the last few years. This includes 199 Productions, Autograph, Brady Brand, and the most notable of them all, TB12.

“I just outlasted everybody,” Brady said. “There’s another me back there. So how do I keep my edge on everybody? I had to keep working. I didn’t go, ‘Hey, I’m good. I won three Super Bowls.’”

Rubins’ message was clear and simple, touching on making mistakes and how to respond to the mistakes made.

“Every day, we’re screwing things up,” Rubin said. “We’ve just got to get a lot more right than wrong and keep learning from it … The tougher s*** gets, the more focused I am.”

On the other side, Travis Scott made arguably the best point: Surround yourself with the right group of people that the rookies can count on, especially in the early moments of their careers.

These young quarterbacks are about to face life and career-changing moments. Their talents are there, but they have already taken the right steps early on and listened to what three influential individuals have to say for them to achieve greatness off the field.
