Who Plays on Thursday Night Football Tonight?

  • Teams: Chicago Bears vs. Washington Commanders
  • Location: FedExField, Landover, Maryland

The Chicago Bears will travel to Maryland on Thursday night to take on the Washington Commanders in hopes of grabbing their first win of the season. The Bears came out early in Week 4 guns blazing, looking like they were going to jump on the Denver Broncos and deliver a similar fate that the Miami Dolphins did to them a week earlier; however, it did not last long.

The Bears would go on to lose in tough fashion as they fell to the Broncos 31-28 to lose their fourth straight game to start the season. There has been a lot of displeasure around the organization as of late, and that usually comes with losing. If Chicago finds a way to beat Washington on Thursday night, it won’t solve everything, but it certainly can be a step in the right direction.

As for the Commanders — they’re fresh off a quality performance against their division rival, the Philadelphia Eagles. While they would go on to lose in overtime, Washington gave the Eagles all they could handle in Week 4 and showed signs of a team that looks like they can turn the corner with their new quarterback to be a real threat in the NFC at some point.

Even though the Commanders have only two wins on the season, they’ve shown elements of being a good team so far through the first month of the year and will look to put together a complete four quarters of football against a reeling Bears team on Thursday night.
