Ever since Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce started dating pop superstar Taylor Swift, the Kelce family has been thrust into the spotlight. Donna Kelce has become a fan favorite who has gone viral several times, Ed Kelce has done a number of high-profile interviews, and former Philadelphia Eagles great Jason Kelce co-hosts a top podcast with Travis and has a successful post-NFL broadcasting career with ESPN.
While Travis and Jason are household names, is there a third Kelce brother? Donna and Ed Kelce have openly discussed their family dynamic, and the Kelces were even the focus of an Amazon documentary last season called “Kelce.” But is there another lesser-known sibling?
Who Is Shawn Kelce?
Not much is known about the oldest Kelce brother, as he stayed out of the public eye. Many fans didn’t even know there was a third brother until this past February.
But prior to Super Bowl LVII between Travis’ Chiefs and Jason’s Eagles, Shawn decided to detail his life in a TikTok with his mother, Donna.

“I’m not going to lie, it’s rough sometimes,” Shawn explained.
Shawn actually hosts his own podcast called the Kelcecast. However, listeners only arrive by accident when they search for Travis and Jason’s New Heights podcast.
“I’ve always said Shawn had his own special gifts,” Donna said. “I just wish he would move out of my basement.”
But here’s the best part: Shawn Kelce is not an ACTUAL Kelce brother. CBS worked with Donna to put this skit together and tell the story of the completely ignored third Kelce bro.
Who Are the Kelce’s Parents?
Jason and Travis’ parents, Ed and Donna, have become public figures in their own right, particularly since Travis started dating Taylor Swift. Back in the 1970s, the two started dating after Donna met Ed on the way to another date.
“I was supposed to go out with a guy that night. We were supposed to go to a play, and I never made it. Your dad and I talked forever,” Donna told her sons, adding jokingly, “It was a good play, too! I really wanted to see it.”
“I’m in coveralls that are covered in cement,” Ed continued the story. “We started talking and she gave me a ride home. She came in and I told her, ‘Hold on, let me change.'”

After about 25 years of marriage and two boys, the couple split but remain good friends.
“I don’t hate him. We’re friends to this day. We get along great,” Donna said on the podcast. “We were like a tag team with you two. We got to do all sorts of fun things. When one of you had to go out of town, the other person would help with the other child. It was perfect.”
Ed now lives right outside Philadelphia, moving from Cleveland to be closer to Jason, his wife Kylie, and their three kids. Donna now lives in Orlando.
Donna and Ed’s marriage ended around 13 years ago. In her Glamour Women of the Year cover story, Donna opened up about the decision to end the marriage.
“My husband and I knew that our marriage was not working, but we stayed together for the kids,” Donna explained. “Ours was a very friendly relationship. So, we could do that and make sure that their life was normal as possible. But in that one respect, I did stand still for several years until I could move on on my own.”
This lines up with what she said during an appearance on The Martha Stewart Podcast back in May.
“We worked together as a team and it’s very, very difficult to raise children on your own,” Donna said. “We decided that we would be married throughout the entire time that the kids were in the house, and that’s the way it worked out.”
