Tee Higgins’ mom isn’t here for the drama — and she made that very clear to the Cincinnati Bengals’ fans. Despite the Bengals’ rocky four-win start, some fans have been quick to point fingers, with Higgins catching more heat lately. However, his mom has been responding to the criticism.
Reminding everyone of his talent and resilience, she shut down the negativity with a message as strong as her son’s game-day grit. Sure, the Bengals are off to a shaky start, but Higgins’ family knows there’s more to come, and his mother isn’t letting anyone count her son out just yet.
Tee Higgins’ Mom Sends Bengals Nation a Bold Rallying Cry
After a tough start to the season for the Bengals (4-7 at the Week 12 bye week), she took to X (formerly known as Twitter) with a heartfelt message to rally fans.
Posting a collage of herself with Higgins and other players, she captioned it: “#latepost Love these guys #WhoDey🐅 don’t count us out💪🏾 let’s finish strong guys #bestqbandwrsinthegame🧡🖤.”
The post struck a chord with Bengals fans, offering a reminder that there’s still time to turn things around.

Higgins, sidelined earlier this season with a lingering injury (sustained Oct. 25), is back in action. Bengals HC Zac Taylor assured fans, saying, “Anything you saw in practice with him doing rehab … we’re in a great spot.”
Higgins himself echoed the confidence, adding, “It felt amazing … and I’m ready to go.”
The Bengals, though, have mastered the art of heartbreak this season. Fresh off surgery, Joe Burrow leads the team with 3,028 passing yards and 27 TDs and became one of just two QBs to lose back-to-back games while totaling 350+ yards, 3+ TDs, and no picks in each contest.
Ja’Marr Chase is on fire, too, with 1,056 receiving yards and 12 TDs. Trey Hendrickson’s 11.5 sacks continue to terrorize QBs. But somehow, the Bengals are teetering on playoff elimination.
Given the situation, Higgins’ mom’s message couldn’t have come at a better time. The team knows it has the talent — now it’s all about finishing strong. And as she said, #WhoDey isn’t counting itself out just yet.
Higgins’ Bengals Future in Doubt As 2024 Rumors Heat Up
Higgins and the Bengals are at major crossroads. Having been hit with the franchise tag in place, whispers suggest 2024 might be the former Clemson WR’s last season in Cincinnati. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler dropped the scoop, saying the Bengals are likely to let the WR walk in free agency, choosing to lock down Chase instead.
Higgins has battled injuries this season, including missing the season opener. Once a consistent target with 74 catches in 2022, his numbers dipped to just 42 last year. Despite the setbacks, he’s playing for his future, but will it be with the Bengals? Time will tell.
