The Cincinnati Bengals needed their offense in full flow with wide receiver Tee Higgins as they prepared for their big game against the Philadelphia Eagles this week. However, the latest update from the Bengals camp puts doubt on his availability, as Higgins is now listed as “questionable” due to a quad injury.
The update surprised fans, but his mother’s response on social media stole the show. When the Bengals shared the injury news on X (formerly known as Twitter).
“Noooo I’m just seeing this 🙏🏽,” she said, capturing shock and worry for her son.

After Thursday’s practice, Higgins’ injury is just the latest setback in his career, as soft tissue concerns have plagued him. Though he’s been in strong form recently, registering 341 yards and three touchdowns in the 2024 NFL season, his status remains uncertain. The Bengals’ fans hope his return to the field is still possible.
Tee Higgins’ Lingering Injuries and the Upcoming Challenges for Cincinnati
Earlier in the year, Higgins missed the first two games with a hamstring injury that emerged just before the season opener against the New England Patriots. Since his return, however, the 25-year-old has been crucial for head coach Zac Taylor‘s offense, posting 75 or more receiving yards in the past three games.
As the Bengals face additional challenges in Week 8, there’s some light at the end of the tunnel: Taylor confirmed that starters Orlando Brown Jr. and Geno Stone are ready for action.

Both were initially limited with knee and shin injuries, respectively, but their availability will be key as Cincinnati aims for a third consecutive victory.
“You could see they were both sore the first two days. But coming out of today, they were good,” Taylor confirmed to ESPN.
Brown is having the best season of his career, ranking first in pass-block win rate. While Higgins’ health is uncertain, the Bengals will need every edge to maintain their winning streak and strengthen their playoff push.
