There is no denying that Taylor Swift has boosted the Kansas City Chiefs fanbase like no other in the last year, especially after her Super Bowl 58 appearance. After finishing her Eras Tour performance in Tokyo, Japan, she traveled halfway across the world to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
One of the main questions before every Chiefs game has been whether the 14-time Grammy winner will be present to support Kelce and the Chiefs.

Swift couldn’t be there to support Kelce during the Chiefs’ first preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, as she was supposed to be performing in Vienna.
However, that event was canceled due to a terrorist attack planned by three teens who were later arrested on Aug. 9, 2024.
Unfortunately, fans won’t be able to see Swift appear during Kelce’s second preseason game, either, owing to her absence from the final leg of her European tour. She has shows lined up in London on Aug. 16, 17, and 19 at Wembley Stadium.
The Chiefs take on the Lions on Aug. 17, making it impossible for Swift to show up and cheer on Kelce in the Chiefs’ second preseason game.
However, a chance exists she will make it to the third and final preseason game against the Chicago Bears on Aug. 22.
Swift will wrap up her shows by then, the final one being on Aug. 20, giving her plenty of time to fly to the U.S.
The 34-year-old global star will take a break from touring for a while and resume the performances from Nov. 14 to Dec. 8, after which she will be free to attend many of Kelce’s games.
Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt Shares Swift’s Impact on the Team’s Fanbase
The Chiefs’ fanbase saw tremendous growth in the team’s following on social media not only because of their back-to-back Super Bowl titles, but due to Kelce’s relationship with Swift.
Swift attended her first game on Sept. 25, 2023, where the Chiefs defeated the Bears 41-10.
Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt credited Swift for the 30% increase in the team’s fanbase while thanking her for the “loyal” fans she has brought with her. He said that Swift’s impact is “undeniable.”
Fans will be intrigued to see Swift’s continued appearances after Kelce’s incredible support during the offseason, attending several Eras Tour shows.
