Taylor Swift has once again become the focus of NFL fans as the Kansas City Chiefs prepare to face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday in the team’s preseason opener.
The billionaire pop star has traveled worldwide multiple times to cheer on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, in the last season, the most popular being her Super Bowl appearance. She took a 13-hour-long flight from Japan to the United States after performing in Tokyo the previous night.
But can she do it again?
Will Taylor Swift Make It to the Chiefs’ Preseason Opener in Jacksonville?
The 14-time Grammy winner was expected to perform in Vienna during a three-night set that was supposed to start on Thursday, Aug. 8, with the last show being on Aug. 10, the date of the Chiefs vs. Jaguars showdown.
However, on Aug. 7, it was announced that all three of her shows would have to be canceled because of a planned terrorist attack at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion, which the Austrian government confirmed.
It is possible that she can make a trip to the United States because of the unplanned cancellation of her show, but it isn’t very likely. She has to be in London for the final leg of the European dates, which is set to take place Aug. 15-20.

Eve Batey, a reporter for Vanity Fair, reportedly reached out to Taylor Swift’s representation for confirmation around her whereabouts for Kelce’s game. They did not respond.
On Wednesday, two of the three teens involved in the planned terrorist attack were arrested and confessed to being a part of the Islamic State group. They revealed their plans to carry explosives and knives for the suicide attack; the third 18-year-old teen was arrested on Thursday.
It is reported that the teens stole the chemicals that they planned to use for the attack from the place where one of them formerly worked, a metal processing company located in Ternitz, Austria.
Unfortunately, Swift won’t be able to attend the second game of the preseason either due to commitments for the European tour. However, there is a chance she can mark her presence during the third and final game of the preseason against the Chicago Bears.
Even though her last show will end on Aug. 20, we know T Swift can surprise fans and show up to support Kelce without caring about jet lag.

Even though Swift is unlikely to be present during the game, that won’t stop Kelce from taking the field.
“I’m gonna play everybody,” Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said at a press conference on Wednesday. “As far as the play time for this game, we’ll go the ones for a quarter, twos for the 2nd quarter, threes for the 3rd quarter, and the fours for the 4th quarter.”
