Tank Bigbsy Fantasy Hub: Week 11 Injury Update, Start/Sit Advice, Projections, and More

The Jacksonville Jaguars will face the Detroit Lions in Week 11. Here’s the latest fantasy football news and advice to help you with your lineups this week and moving forward, especially regarding RB Tank Bigsby.

Is Tank Bigsby Playing in Week 11?

Tank Bigsby never practiced this week after appearing to aggravate an existing ankle injury in Week 10. The Jaguars’ RB2 will miss Sunday’s gamer against the Lions.

He was slow to get up after taking a first-down carry for three yards with roughly seven minutes remaining in the first quarter. While Bigsby returned to Week 10’s game after entering the blue medical tent, he handled only more touch.

Travis Etienne Jr. will be in a position to handle the lion’s share of the Jaguars’ backfield touches. Still, expectations have to be held in check. Jacksonville’s offense is extremely limited with Mac Jones under center, while Detroit ranks fifth in EPA per rush and allows the fifth-least fantasy points to running backs.

Tank Bigsby’s Fantasy Outlook

Tank Bigsby continues to try to play through an ankle injury and that is prohibitive for a player that was producing splash plays with regularity earlier this season. He was in and out of the lineup last week, and unless we get a clean health report from practices down the stretch, it’s hard for me to get behind Flexing Bigsby given this offense’s limitations.

Over the past three weeks, 100% of Bigsby’s rushing yards have come after contact — this ankle injury is clearly limiting his ability to hit holes that quickly disappear. As things stand right now, I’m operating under the assumption that we won’t get clarity on his health anytime soon.
