When is the Stanford Pro Day in 2022?

  • Date: Thursday, March 17
  • Time: TBA

Stanford’s NFL Draft prospects will have the opportunity to display their potential for scouts at the Cardinal Pro Day on Thursday, March 17. A late announcement to the pro day schedule, we’re yet to have an official announcement as to what time it will begin. Last year, however, it began at 3 PM ET and was televised nationally by NFL Network due to being held behind closed doors.

Top Stanford NFL Draft prospects working out at pro day

There was such national interest in the Stanford Pro Day last year due to the emergence of Davis Mills as a quarterback prospect in that NFL Draft class. Ultimately, Mills’ workout last March helped cement his third-round selection by the Houston Texans. He now heads into the 2022 NFL season as the de facto starter for the franchise.

Teammate Walker Little headlined a class that saw five players selected as April turned into May last spring. Paulson Adebo joined Mills as a Day 2 selection, while Drew Dalman and Simi Fehoko were both selected in the top 200. It proved a bounce-back draft class for the program after Stanford had just two players selected in 2020. Unfortunately, the 2022 NFL Draft class may be even more sparse for the Cardinal.

Thomas Booker, DT

At present, defensive lineman Thomas Booker is the only Stanford prospect who carries a draftable grade from our team of NFL Draft analysts. Even then, Booker has elevated himself substantially through the back end of the draft process. A standout at the East-West Shrine Bowl, Booker further helped his NFL Draft cause with an exceptional performance at the Combine.

Booker led all defensive tackles with a 4.41-second shuttle time, showcasing his agility. Furthermore, his 4.94-second 40-yard dash time was top five among interior defensive line players. A versatile and athletic defensive line prospect who can line up from 1-tech all the way to a wide-9 alignment, Booker is sure to have earned Day 3 attention. He’ll hope to solidify that in front of scouts at the Stanford Pro Day.
