Snoop Dogg Takes Hilarious Shot at Bill Belichick for Having a 24-Year-Old Girlfriend in NFL Honors Opening Monologue

He might no longer coach in the NFL, but current University of North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick appeared at NFL Honors in New Orleans. He appeared with his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson. The former New England Patriots coach turned heads on the red carpet when he strutted in with Hudson.

However, that didn’t stop him and his girlfriend from being caught in the crosshairs of NFL Honors emcee Snoop Dogg during a cheeky remark.

Snoop Dogg Takes Hilarious Shot at Bill Belichick, Jordon Hudson at NFL Honors

Rapper Snoop Dogg mentioned Belichick and Hudson in his opening monologue. He was discussing how much he loved football and was reliving the glory days of professional football.

“I remember back when the [Dallas] Cowboys was good. I remember back when the [Kansas City] Chiefs was bad,” Snoop Dogg said. “And I remember … Bill Belichick’s girlfriend wasn’t even born yet.”

Belichick Appears at NFL Honors With Girlfriend, Hudson

Belichick is officially dating Hudson. The couple made their relationship public when they attended Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony in June 2024 and posed for photos on the red carpet. They vacationed together in Croatia, and they were photographed in Nantucket, Conn., as well.

Hudson, a former cheerleader and pageant queen, met Belichick in 2021 on a flight to Florida. Belichick and Hudson struck up a conversation about the book she was reading (“Deductive Logic” by Warren Goldfarb), and Hudson asked the legendary coach for his autograph. They exchanged contact info and stayed in touch.

The two reportedly started dating in 2022 after Belichick broke up with his ex-girlfriend, Linda Holliday. Belichick and Holliday were together for many years, reportedly dating from 2007 to 2023.

Belichick was previously married to Debby Clarke for nearly 30 years, but the couple divorced in 2006. They have three children together: Stephen, Brian, and Amanda.

Hudson reportedly helped Belichick with some off-field endeavors while he was away from coaching, including his broadcasting deals.

The couple kept their relationship private for the last two years, with Hudson reportedly attending Patriots games in secret during the 2022 and 2023 seasons, per TMZ.

How Old Is Belichick? Age Difference in Spotlight With New Girlfriend

Belichick is 72 years old and Hudson is 24, so there’s a 48-year age gap between the two. This age gap has generated a lot of conversation ever since the two decided to make their relationship public.

During “The Roast of Tom Brady” on Netflix, former New England tight end Rob Gronkowski poked fun at his former coach’s new relationship and specifically the age gap.

“You used to talk about Foxborough High School when we sucked, but now I know why you were so obsessed with Foxborough High School: You were scouting your new girlfriend!” Gronkowski said. “You’re 73 years old; you should be trying to bang someone your own age!”

Belichick recently accepted the North Carolina Tar Heels’ head coaching job, which prompted plenty of jokes since his girlfriend is roughly the same age as the players he’ll be coaching.

During an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Dec. 9, Belichick explained how he’s going to run UNC’s football program.

“If I was in a college program, the college program would be a pipeline to the NFL for the players that had the ability to play in the NFL,” Belichick said. “It would be a professional program — training, nutrition, scheme, coaching, techniques, that would transfer to the NFL.

“It would be an NFL program at a college level and an education that would get the players ready for after football. It would be geared toward developing the player, discipline, time management, structure, and all that, life skills, regardless of whether you’re in the NFL or somewhere in business.

“I feel very confident that I have the contacts in the National Football League to pave the way for those players to have the opportunity to compete in the National Football League. They would be ready for it, I don’t have any doubt about that. It would be an NFL program, but not at the NFL level.”
