‘I Don’t Wear Jordans’ – Sneakerhead Shedeur Sanders Raises Eyebrows for His Unique Choices in Latest Viral Clip

In the week leading up to Super Bowl 59, Colorado Buffaloes quarterback and top prospect Shedeur Sanders was shown and offered various cool pairs of Jordan shoes. Despite the offer, Sanders made clear that he only wears the shoes of his dad, Prime Time Deion Sanders.

Sanders is a top NFL prospect who is expected to be one of the top two quarterbacks taken in the 2025 NFL Draft, along with Miami Hurricanes Cam Ward. He had 4,134 passing yards, 41 total touchdowns, and 10 interceptions this past year while having an impressive 74.0% completion percentage.

What Did Shedeur Sanders Say About His Shoe Choice?

The popular Buffaloes fan account “@SkoBuffsGoBuffs” reposted the clip on social media, provided some commentary on the matter, and credited Deion Sanders Jr. for the video.

“Shedeur Sanders after being showed a rare pair of Jordans in the Sneaker Store đź‘€ ‘I only wear Dad (Deion Sanders) shoes. I don’t wear nobody else shoes, I don’t wear Jordans…My Dad got his own shoe’ 🎥 : @DeionSandersJr,” the post was captioned.

    Sanders’ 2025 NFL Draft Projection

At this time, many analysts and mock drafts have Sanders as a top-10 selection in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft. In PFSN’s latest 7-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft, Sanders was selected No. 2 overall by the Cleveland Browns.

“If the Browns weren’t already aware, Myles Garrett’s trade request was the strongest indication they could get: Kevin Stefanski and Andrew Berry have to cut loose from the Deshaun Watson plan and re-invest at QB to start anew.

“Shedeur Sanders is the next man up in the 2025 NFL Draft QB class, and he has some QB1 buzz. He’s not quite the playmaker that Ward is, but Sanders thrives pre-snap, he’s calm and collected in the pocket, his arm is strong, and his accuracy is top-shelf at its peak.”

After a rough first season at Colorado, Sanders helped catapult the Buffaloes to a 9-4 record and an Alamo Bowl appearance. They ended up losing 36-14 to BYU, but the impact that Sanders made was evident.

While it remains to be seen where Sanders is drafted and if he is the first quarterback selected in the upcoming draft, it’s a guarantee that he’ll remain true to himself in the NFL by wearing his father, Coach Prime’s, cleats and shoes.
