‘I’m Sick of All You’ — San Francisco 49ers Star Curses Out Fans in Wild Social Media Rant

The San Francisco 49ers are coming off an underwhelming 2024-25 campaign that saw them miss the playoffs for the first time since 2020.

The disappointing season fell primarily on injury trouble, which the team dealt with the entire season. Star players Christian McCaffrey, Brandon Aiyuk, Nick Bosa, Trent Williams, and many more missed games this season due to numerous injuries.

In the offseason, frustrations continue to boil over for 49ers players. Linebacker De’Vondre Campbell took to social media to express his agitation toward fans.

    De’Vondre Campbell’s Vulgar X Post Toward 49ers Faithful

After receiving a few comments about the linebacker being soft, Campbell had enough and shared his response to X.com. “Listen, I’m sick of all you b**** a** n***** jumping under my tweets,” Campbell said. “It’s been 2 months and I have yet to address the situation cause I know the truth and don’t care to clear anything up. I’m by myself ALL the time if you or any of them b**** a** n***** from the 49ers feel some.”

This came in response to a fan calling the nine-year pro soft in a separate post. The comments to Campbell’s message show even more fans and X users calling the fourth-round pick soft, to which the Minnesota product continued to respond with similar replies.

“I ain’t addressing s***,” Campbell said. “I’m rich and never have to work another day in my life and I told Kyle Shannahan and John Lynch that when they FaceTime me and begged me to come out there an hour after Green Bay cut me I really be sparring n*****. I play because I WANT TO.”

Attitude Nothing New for the 49ers Linebacker?

Earlier this season Campbell was suspended three games by his own team as he refused to enter a Thursday Night Football contest against divisional foe, the Los Angeles Rams. While the truth as to why Campbell refused to return to the game remains unclear, ESPN analyst Shannon Sharpe believes he knew the truth.

“What he had a problem with was Dre Greenlaw coming back and getting his minutes,” Sharpe said. “… What exacerbated the situation … Greenlaw gets nicked, they need him [Campbell] to go in, now all of a sudden, ‘I don’t feel like it.'”

The 49ers are Campbell’s fourth NFL franchise during his nine-year career. The former Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee had a tough go in 2024. What lies ahead for the one-time All-Pro will only be clear as time goes on.
