The Chicago Bears will face the San Francisco 49ers in Week 14. Here’s the latest fantasy football news and advice to help you with your lineups this week and moving forward, especially regarding RB Roschon Johnson.
Is Roschon Johnson Playing in Week 14?
Johnson will not play on Sunday after suffering a concussion in Week 13. He never practiced this week.
Most NFL players require at least one week to exit the NFL’s concussion protocol. Johnson shouldn’t be expected to practice this week or play on Sunday. He saw a season-high 10 carries in Week 11 and scored in Weeks 11 and 12.
We’ll continue to monitor the Bears’ injury report. You can also visit and bookmark our NFL Injury Tracker and Fantasy News Tracker for the latest updates.
Roschon Johnson’s Fantasy Outlook
The Bears didn’t get stopped at the one-yard, and that meant that Johnson was rendered useless.
OK, so that’s only partly true. He left early on Thursday with a concussion, which puts his status in question for this week, though the mini-bye gives him a better shot at clearing protocol. All that said — he isn’t playing. For fantasy purposes, it doesn’t matter.
The six rushing scores are nice from a profile perspective, but you’re not playing a 4-6 touch player in a below-average offense if you can at all avoid it. Personally, I’m targeting players with more upside to round out my roster, no matter the format.
