Who Is Dr. Dana Blumberg, and How Did She Meet Robert Kraft?
Born in 1974, Blumberg is 50 years old and has carved out a successful career in medicine. Blumberg received her medical degree from the prestigious Saint Louis University School of Medicine and later completed a residency in ophthalmology at Case Western Reserve University.
Her expertise lies in treating glaucoma and other eye diseases, making her highly respected in her field. Blumberg has also been recognized as one of New York’s top doctors and is passionate about improving patients’ eye health.
Previously, Blumberg worked as an associate professor of ophthalmology at Columbia University in New York City — where Kraft attended to receive his undergraduate degree.
When Blumberg and Kraft first met, they chose to keep their relationship private.
It has yet to be publicly announced how the couple originally met, but Blumberg and Kraft were first spotted together in 2017 at the Elton John AIDS Foundation event. At the event, Blumberg snapped a picture with one of Kraft’s six Super Bowl rings won with the Patriots.

Former Philadelphia 76ers co-owner and current CEO of Fanatics Michael Rubin and Rubin’s girlfriend Camille Fishel gave the outside world a quick picture of Blumberg and Kraft’s first date in August 2017.
“This is the bar they had their first date, so had it renamed ‘BLUMBERG’S,’ Rubin wrote on his Instagram page.
Fishel also shared a side-by-side post featuring Blumberg and Kraft on her Instagram story.

In the first picture, the famous couple can be seen holding up a shot, and the picture below was taken a day after Blumberg and Kraft’s special day.
“People talk to me about sports, and I haven’t talked much, but I’m going to because of how lucky I am, having found the woman that I did,” Kraft said of Blumberg.
Kraft, who purchased the Patriots in 1994, was previously married to Myra Hiatt Kraft, his college sweetheart, for nearly 50 years before her tragic passing due to ovarian cancer in July 2011 at the age of 68. The couple shared four sons during their marriage.
“I had a tremendous first wife, and 12 years ago, she died of ovarian cancer, and I never believed I would get married again,” Kraft said in a published 2023 story.
The couple tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony on October 14, 2022, which was attended by Tom Brady, Roger Goodell, Adam Silver, Randy Moss, Vince Wilfork, and Jon Bon Jovi. Stars like Elton John, Ed Sheeran, and Meek Mill performed during the wedding.

Kraft also revealed he is very blessed to have come across Blumberg because of her out-of-this-world personality.
“I met a woman who was just off the charts, and she made me very happy. And hopefully, I make her very happy,” Kraft said.
