Pro Football Network names Chief Operating Officer and Director of Content Development

Pro Football Network (PFN) has named Ryan Gosling its Chief Operating Officer and Tyler Olson its Director of Content Development. Both will begin in their new positions with PFN on November 1 and are the first year-round, full-time staff members in company history. They join Tommy Garrett, who is currently working full-time for PFN throughout the duration of the 2020 fantasy football season.

“PFN has seen monumental growth since we opened our doors on January 1, 2019. We have gone from having a few hundred visitors per month to now having millions per month,” said Matthew Cannata, PFN Founder and CEO. “Because of that success, we have an incredible opportunity to add our first year-round, full-time staffers in company history with Ryan and Tyler. There aren’t two others that the PFN ownership group would rather have by our side as we continue to build the foundation for continued success.”

Gosling, who holds two degrees – including one in human resources and business management – has over ten years of business management experience. He has been with PFN for two years, holding a variety of roles. Most recently, he was serving as the Editor-in-Chief. In his new role as Chief Operating Officer, he will oversee the day-to-day business and content operations of PFN.

“It has been a dream of mine and so many of my peers to work full-time in the sports media business. I am incredibly grateful to Pro Football Network and the entire ownership group for allowing me to pursue this career path,” said Gosling. “Having started as an editor for the betting side of the website nearly two years ago, I am proud to now start this new role as Chief Operating Officer. I will continue to work hard to ensure that PFN remains the go-to destination for everything football related. I am certain that the best is yet to come.”

Olson holds a master’s degree in internet marketing and has seven years of combined experience in business operations, digital marketing, and content management. He has been with PFN for two years in numerous roles. Most recently, he served as PFN’s marketing and content analyst. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing the daily management and development of content at PFN, and he will assist in other areas of the company.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to get the high-quality content our insiders and writers produce every day in front of the many passionate football fans out there,” said Olson. “I am thankful for the PFN ownership group, who have been nothing but supportive since the day I joined the company. Although we have seen tremendous success in just two years, I promise you that we are only getting started.”

Pro Football Network was founded in 2018 and officially began its operations on January 1, 2019. They cover the NFL, NFL Draft, college football, fantasy football, NFL betting, analytics, and more. PFN is led by content producers with a wide range of industry experience, including Tony Pauline, Mike Tanier, Matt Williamson, Anita Marks, Benjamin Allbright, and dozens of other writers, editors, and support staff.

“Anyone who has ever walked through our virtual doors has positively contributed to our success over the past two years,” said Cannata. “Making a move like this is only possible because of our staff’s commitment to excellence and drive to produce quality content daily. Although we celebrate the addition of Ryan and Tyler today, the credit truly goes to our supportive readers and our staff who have helped make this possible.”
