Who Is Patrick Mahomes’ Mom? Randi Takes Center Stage With Super Bowl 58 Outfit

Patrick Mahomes' mom is his biggest supporter. Meet Randi Mahomes, who will be in attendance for Super Bowl 58.

Patrick Mahomes’ mom, Randi, is his biggest supporter. The mother and son are extremely close, with Randi regularly spotted attending NFL games.

Randi will be in attendance in Las Vegas for Super Bowl 58 as she watches her son and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers. Let’s take a look at what we know about Mahomes’ proud mom.

Meet Patrick Mahomes’ Mom, Randi

Randi was born in Troup, Texas, in 1972 and has three children, Patrick (28), Jackson (23), and Mia (12). Patrick and Jackson share the same father (Patrick Mahomes Sr.), while Mia is from another relationship.

Patrick Mahomes’ mom runs her own website, the QB Producer, where she shares stories and sells merchandise and cameos. She’s also an events planner.

Randi gave birth to Patrick in 1995 when she was just 20 years old. Speaking to PEOPLE, Mahome’s mom talked about how the birth of her first son changed her life.

“Sometimes, I look back, and I’m like, ‘Where would I be if I didn’t have him?’,” Randi said. “Because I wasn’t going down a bad road, I just wasn’t going on a road.

“He made me grow up in a good way, in a great way. Being a mother is my favorite thing sometimes, and sometimes it’s hard, but it is my favorite thing, and I always say, ‘Where would I be without it?'”

Randi has watched Mahomes become a football great, but it’s never got any easier for her to watch games. “I still get nervous,” Randi shared.

“The gray hair, I tell him, I’m like, ‘You’re giving me gray hair, and it’s not because I’m a grandma now, it’s because I’m having to watch you [get] hit by 300-pound guys.’ Usually, when I’m screaming at the game, it’s like, ‘Don’t hit him. Don’t hit him.'”

Mahomes’ mom will be in Allegiant Stadium to watch Super Bowl 58 on Sunday night hoping he doesn’t get hit too often. And while she will be cheering on Mahomes, Randi believes she’s the real winner.

“I get to see all my children together, and I get to see my grandkids, so I’m like, ‘I’m winning no matter what,'” the NFL mom said.

Even though she is in the city, Randi will let Patrick go about his business. She told PEOPLE, “We don’t talk as much because he’s busy, and so today he texts me when I let him know that we landed and what we were doing, and he’s like, ‘Love you, mom,’ and you know we just kind of keep our connection. But right now, I’m letting him have his moment.”
