Panthers 3 12 0 3 18
Colts 3 7 0 11 21

A game that saw some big plays in the first half when Jacob Eason and P.J. Walker went toe-to-toe somewhat fizzled out in the second half. Joey Slye kicked three field goals in the first half before Walker found tremble in the back of the end zone. The Colts answered on a well-constructed two-minute drive for a touchdown.

Eason impressed, despite a fumble on a sack. He went 15-of-21 for 183 yards, including the two-minute drive. Walker had some wow moments that we have come to expect from him, including using his legs to extend the play for the Panthers’ touchdown. His numbers were mixed, going 10-for-21 for 161 yards and that touchdown pass.

When Will Grier and Sam Ehlinger took over, the game got sloppy. Ehlinger threw an interception, there was a muffed punt, then Giovanni Ricci fumbled. However, with 10 minutes left things began to heat up.

Ehlinger led the Colts down the field to tie the game, throwing two beautiful passes. He then led the team on a game-winning drive, including a third-down conversion to allow time to wind down before Eddy Pineiro kicked the game-winning field goal.
