Odell Beckham Heads to Locker Room With Injury

Beckham went to the locker room with an unknown injury and was able to return to the game Sunday against the Steelers.

Beckham caught a pass in the red zone from Lamar Jackson and then jogged off the field. He met with trainers and was taken to the locker room. It is suspected that this is the play in which Beckham suffered the injury.

There were questions about Beckham and if he would play today as he spent the last two weeks treating tendonitis in his foot. It’s unclear if this injury is related to that.

Beckham had one catch for six yards before leaving the game. He has caught five passes for 66 yards so far this season.

The former Pro Bowler is coming off an ACL injury that had him out all of last season.

In the absence of Beckham, the Ravens will turn to rookie Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman at wide receiver.

Fantasy Impact of Beckham’s Injury

From PFN Fantasy Analyst Kyle Soppe

The Ravens are the rare offense in 2023 that doesn’t require a receiver to produce in order for them to be effective. The athletic gifts of Jackson and the connection he has with Mark Andrews make this quick-strike offense plenty capable without much help.

Flowers has been the go-to option when the team has needed a hand from the WR room. That said, Bateman was targeted on the first pass today and put a TD on the ground shortly after Beckham departed. Should Beckham continue to struggle to stay on the field, Bateman is a bye-week filler option, but nothing more.
