The 2024 NFL season is underway, and the first NFL Sunday is here with a new host of teams looking to compete for the Lombardi Trophy. With a big lineup of games, fans will need to decide how to watch all of the action without missing anything.
To solve that problem, NFL RedZone was launched in 2009. What is NFL RedZone, how much does it cost, and where can you stream it?
What Is NFL RedZone?
NFL RedZone, hosted by Scott Hanson, showcases every touchdown from every Sunday game during the regular season. With its “octobox” feature, up to eight games are shown simultaneously. The channel switches to live local broadcasts when a team enters the 20-yard line, also known as the red zone.
In addition to red-zone action, Hanson guides viewers through turnovers, big plays, and touchdowns from anywhere on the field. NFL RedZone is an ideal companion for fantasy football, offering a chance to track which players are racking up points from scores and significant plays.
Can You Buy NFL RedZone by Itself?
You cannot purchase NFL RedZone by itself. However, there are many ways to access the channel.
NFL Sunday Ticket is offered by its new owner YouTube TV, and the app has a set of base features, with additional options that include the NFL RedZone channel.
The cost for NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube TV is $349 for the full season or $249 for those who purchased before June 6, 2023. If you want to bundle it with NFL RedZone, the price is $389 or $289 with the early purchase discount.
Students can get an NFL Sunday Ticket package for $109 or pay $119 for the bundle with NFL RedZone, which is regularly priced at $349.
How To stream NFL RedZone
If you have NFL RedZone through any previously mentioned methods, you can stream it on NFL.com, NFL Mobile, iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, and Amazon Fire TV.
Additionally, you can also stream NFL RedZone on NFL+. NFL fans can pay $35 for a year’s worth of NFL+ access which allows them to watch NFL RedZone. Access to the program will be limited to mobile devices, however.
