NFL Pro Bowl 2024: Location, Date, Start Time, and Rosters

Before the Super Bowl, one other notable game will be played. Where is the 2024 Pro Bowl going to be played, and where will the games be held?

The NFL postseason is trekking close as the league enters its final regular season weekend. As teams prepare for a run at the Super Bowl, there are players set to prepare for another prestigious NFL event.

That would be the 2024 NFL Pro Bowl. While the league’s all-star game may not have the level of popularity of the Super Bowl, there will still be an expected high level of interest by fans who want to see their favorite players take part in the Pro Bowl. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming event.

When Is the 2024 Pro Bowl? New Host Site Revealed

  • Date: Feb. 4, 2024
  • Time: 3 p.m. ET
  • Location: Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla.

The league will place the Pro Bowl back in the Sunshine State after rolling with Las Vegas one year ago.

For the first time since 2021, the Pro Bowl will be heading back to Orlando, while the Super Bowl will be taking its place, heading to the Sin City for the first time.

Only this time for the Orlando festivities, no one will be wearing full pads in front of fans who flock over to Camping World Stadium.

The NFL altered the all-star game experience one year ago. One of the more significant removals was full contact and wearing shoulder pads in general. Taking its place were more skill competitions and a friendly, yet competitive, flag football game featuring some of the league’s best players.

Also included will be a precision-passing challenge, a fastest-man competition, and a dodgeball game.

Who Will Comprise the 2024 Pro Bowl Rosters? Leaders in Votes Revealed

The league won’t officially announce the complete Pro Bowl lineups for the NFC and AFC squads until 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Jan. 3; however, one look at the voting leaders paints the overall picture of who will be heading to the all-star contest.

As of Wednesday afternoon, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has earned the most Pro Bowl votes among fans with close to 452,000 per nfl.com. He’s not the only 49ers star with a high number of votes.

Running back Christian McCaffrey trails Purdy with nearly 430,000 votes, making him the RB with the most Pro Bowl votes.

Who’s the next closest QB to Purdy’s popularity among Pro Bowl voters? That’s Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins — who is nearing 415,000 votes as of 4:45 p.m. ET. With Tagovailoa’s growing voter tally, he’s likely to earn starting QB reps for the AFC in their second annual flag football game.

Purdy, McCaffrey, and Tagovailoa are the top three leaders among fan votes. San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle and Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce help comprise the top five.

As for the defensive side of the football, defensive end Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns is the leader among AFC defenders as of Wednesday. Nick Bosa of the 49ers leads the NFC group of defenders in fan votes.

Any Possible First-Time Pro Bowlers?

What draws intrigue regarding the Pro Bowl for the fans is who earns their first career bid.

One notable name surfacing as a possible first-time Pro Bowler is Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert. The 31-year-old is enjoying his first 1,000-yard season while also scoring 18 rushing touchdowns with one game left in the regular season.

Another potential first-time Pro Bowler is Brandon Aiyuk of the 49ers. The fourth-year wide receiver is the leader on the NFC side for votes among the wide receiver group. Aiyuk currently has a career-best 1,317 receiving yards for the Niners.

Tyreek Hill of the Dolphins is the leader on the AFC side for the WR group, and Hill leads the NFL with 1,717 receiving yards.

One last notable rule involving the Pro Bowl: Teams that advance to the Super Bowl immediately see their Pro Bowl selections opted out of the all-star contest to focus on the big game.
