When does the NFL regular season begin?

The 2022 NFL season starts on Thursday, Sept. 8, as the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams host the Buffalo Bills in SoFi Stadium. There are currently a number of questions surrounding the Rams’ roster as quarterback Matthew Stafford is reportedly suffering from a unique elbow injury.

There are several other interesting games on the Week 1 NFL schedule, like the Bengals hosting their division rival Pittsburgh Steelers and the Las Vegas Raiders traveling to face the Los Angeles Chargers. The week comes to an end on Monday night when the Denver Broncos face the Seahawks in Seattle.
