As we head into the first matchups of Wild Card Weekend today, all eyes will be on the NFL inactives when they are announced for both games. Which players will the four teams playing today be without, whether through injury or the coach’s decision?
NFL Inactives for Wild Card Saturday
Each of the four franchises playing on the Saturday of Wild Card Weekend will have some tough decisions to make. Each team can only “dress” 48 players, despite having an active roster of 53 players. Therefore, each team will have to name any players on their roster over their 48 “dressed” players as inactives.
Let’s take a look at which players have been named among the inactives, as well as examine what the injury report for the four squads looked like coming into Saturday.

Which players were questionable heading into Saturday?
The injury reports for three of the four teams were reasonably quiet. When it comes to the injury report for Raiders vs. Bengals, there are just three players listed as questionable and one as doubtful for the game.
The Bengals listed DT Josh Tupou as doubtful, and CB Jalen Davis and WR Morgan Stanley as questionable. Meanwhile, the Raiders only have DT Jonathan Hankins listed as questionable. Both teams should be reasonably close to full strength entering Wild Card Weekend.
As for the injury report in the Patriots vs. Bills matchup, we have a very different set of circumstances. A total of 13 players have been listed as questionable, with all of them coming from the Patriots. Therefore, the Bills’ inactives for the first round of the NFL playoffs will likely come down to the coach’s decision.
The Patriots did not rule anyone out from their injury report this week, but they did not clear anyone either. That means they have 13 players listed as questionable. On offense, those players are RB Damien Harris, WR Jakobi Meyers, C David Andrews, OT Isaiah Wynn, and K Nick Folk. Meanwhile, on defense, DT Christian Barmore, DT Lawrence Guy, LBs Dont’a Hightower, Brandon King, and Jamie Collins Sr., and DBs Cody Davis, Kyle Dugger, and Adrian Phillips are questionable.
