The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Atlanta Falcons for the team’s home opener on Monday night. The Eagles will honor former Super Bowl-winning quarterback Nick Foles during the game, as he will serve as the team’s honorary captain.

While Philadelphia technically played a “home game” in Brazil, Monday night will be the team’s true home opener. The Eagles are looking to remain undefeated, while the Falcons will try to bounce back from a frustrating performance in Week 1.

Here’s a look at the inactive list and projected starters for each team ahead of Monday night’s primetime matchup.

Following an embarrassing home loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1, the Falcons are ready to bounce back against the Eagles. They’ll be forced to do so without one of the team’s best defensive players from last week.

Falcons linebacker Nate Landman was Atlanta’s highest graded player in Week 1, according to Pro Football Focus. Landman split time with Troy Andersen at LB against the Steelers and played at a high level, but he has been ruled out due to injuries to his calf and quad.

Atlanta defensive back Antonio Hamilton Sr. will miss his second consecutive game due to a groin injury.

Meanwhile, the Eagles will be without star wide receiver A.J. Brown due to a hamstring injury. Brown initially popped up on the injury report as a limited participant during Friday’s practice.

He did not participate in practice on Saturday, which led to him officially being ruled out Sunday morning. Now, the Eagles will be forced to lean on DeVonta Smith and Jahan Dotson at WR in Week 2.
