NFL Games Today TV Schedule: Eagles vs. Chiefs Super Bowl 57 Preview

Are there any NFL games today? Yes, there is football today. Welcome to Super Bowl 57 between the Eagles and Chiefs!

Are there any NFL games today? Unless you’ve been living under a rock or are more excited for Rihanna than the actual football game itself, then you know that Super Bowl 57 is here. After a week’s hiatus, there is finally going to be football tonight. Unfortunately, this will be the last time in quite a while that we can say that there is NFL action on our televisions.

Hey, at least we get the XFL and USFL this offseason, right? But, before we look ahead to some spring-league football, let’s focus on the biggest NFL game of the year. Here’s everything you need to know surrounding Super Bowl 57, including how to watch, the TV channel, start time, live stream options, and more.

NFL Games Today | Super Bowl Sunday

Super Bowl Sunday. Are there any three words that sound sweeter than that? The biggest event of the year, the pinnacle of the NFL season, the ultimate showdown between the two best teams in the league. It’s enough to give you goosebumps.

This year especially, we have a matchup that even NFL scriptwriters couldn’t have predicted. The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs will faceoff for the Lombardi Trophy in Glendale, Arizona, during Super Bowl 57.

Much has been said about both of these teams. Over the past few weeks, this matchup has been broken down, analyzed, studied, and discussed ad nauseam. However, there is only one game of football today, so why not break it down just one more time?

Eagles vs. Chiefs Matchup

  • Channel: FOX
  • Location: Glendale, Arizona
  • Start Time: 6:30 p.m. ET
  • Live Stream: Fox Sports App, fuboTV

When looking for football today, all you need to do is turn your television over to FOX at 6:30 p.m. ET to watch the most anticipated game of the year. Eagles vs. Chiefs marks just the sixth time since the AFL and NFL merger that the teams with the top two regular-season records will meet in the Super Bowl.

What does that mean? Well, it means that we can expect some fireworks.

The Chiefs made waves this offseason when they traded away their No. 1 wide receiver in Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins. Many believed the offense would see a significant drop in production, but Patrick Mahomes did what Patrick Mahomes does, even without his favorite target.

Mahomes led the NFL with 5,250 passing yards in the regular season on his way to another NFL MVP award. The offense was as explosive as ever, and thanks to a surprise diamond in the rough in the form of seventh-round rookie running back Isiah Pacheco, the Chiefs’ run game made them even more dynamic.

On the other side of the ball, Kansas City is going to need to figure out how to handle the other quarterback in the game, Jalen Hurts. Coming into the year, there were questions surrounding whether or not Hurts would “be the guy” for the Eagles moving forward. Well, he answered those questions in the form of a season with 3,701 passing yards and 760 rushing yards.

He did everything for this Eagles offense. In fact, when he was healthy, Hurts made a legitimate case to be the NFL’s MVP.

Unfortunately, a shoulder injury hampered the end of the year for Hurts and has even dragged into the playoffs. Although Philadelphia’s won both of their games so far, Hurts has been nowhere near as impressive. He has 275 passing yards and 53 rushing yards in both games combined.

A lot has been said about the lack of competition the Eagles have faced this season, especially when looking at the two teams they beat in the playoffs (an incredibly injured 49ers team on their fourth-string QB, and… the Giants). But wins are wins, and the Eagles won both with a combined score of 69-14.

Yes, there is football today. Yes, there is an NFL game today. And yes, someone will be hoisting the Lombardi Trophy when it is all said and done. After a long season of ups and downs, it’s time to enjoy the NFL one last time and start counting down the days until the 2023 season kicks off.
