The NFL season continues to advance, and with Saturday games on the horizon, are there any NFL games today? With playoff scenarios starting to form and the NFL standings falling a bit more into place, will we get to see any NFL action today?

During Week 14, there are no Saturday games being played. However, Saturday football is not too far off, with two games planned for Week 15.
Week 14 kicked off Thursday night as the Pittsburgh Steelers battled the Minnesota Vikings. In what ultimately was a close, exciting football game, the Vikings managed to come away with a 36-28 victory. Riding on the back of Dalvin Cook and his impressive 2-touchdown performance, the Vikings managed to hang onto their slim playoff hopes in the NFC.
Meanwhile, the loss now means that the Steelers are two games behind the Baltimore Ravens for first in the AFC North. However, the AFC Wild Card spots are still very much up for grabs. Buffalo is currently in the seventh seed with 7 wins on the season.
Unfortunately for Pittsburgh, they have the toughest remaining strength of schedule in the NFL (according to Tankathon), with opponents like Kansas City, Baltimore, and Tennessee still on tap. The Vikings have a middle-of-the-pack strength of schedule remaining with two divisional matchups against the Bears and one against the Packers.

This year, there will be NFL games being played on Christmas. Traditionally, the NFL has played on Christmas Day if it falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or Monday.
