“They get Christmas games, oh god…” one fan exclaimed.
“I swear if they ever move the Super Bowl to a streaming service, I’ll be done with the NFL. Netflix should have billed this fight as ‘live streaming but you will have to wait till the day after to read about it and find out what happened,'” another wrote.
“Maybe the Christmas Games shouldn’t be on Netflix,” another added.
“We will remember this day as the moment Netflix fleeced everyone to log back into their accounts,” another trolled the streaming giant.
“Netflix was trash for America tonight. Poor performance,” one fan commented.

Which Christmas Games Will Netflix Stream in 2024?
The NFL has two games on the Christmas slate in 2024. On Dec. 25, the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. In the second game, the Baltimore Ravens will be up against the Houston Texans.
Netflix will also get at least one game each year on holidays as part of their three-year deal with the league.
“Last year, we decided to take a big bet on live — tapping into massive fandoms across comedy, reality TV, sports, and more,” Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria said. “There are no live annual events, sports or otherwise, that compare with the audiences NFL football attracts. We’re so excited that the NFL’s Christmas Day games will be only on Netflix.”
“We couldn’t be more excited to be the first professional sports league to partner with Netflix to bring live games to fans around the world,” NFL Executive Vice President of Media Distribution Hans Schroeder said. “The NFL on Christmas has become a tradition and to partner with Netflix, a service whose biggest day of the year is typically this holiday, is the perfect combination to grow this event globally for NFL fans.”
Apart from Christmas games being streamed on Netflix, the matchups will also be locally broadcast and on NFL+.
