NFL Fans Call Out Jerry Jones for His Outburst on Radio Show

On Tuesday, Jones made his weekly appearance on the “105.3 The Fan” FM radio show. The hosts were eager to discuss the mistakes that the Cowboys made that led to losing in such a brutal fashion in front of their home crowd on Sunday. However, Jones was having none of it and started diminishing the hosts’ abilities.

“Your job isn’t to let me go over all the reasons that I did something … that’s not your job. I’ll get somebody else to ask these questions. I’m not kidding,” Jones said on the radio broadcast.

One fan uploaded the snippet of the show on X (previously Twitter) and called the Cowboys’ owner, president, and GM out.

“Jerry Jones is losing his mind LLMMAAOOO,” he captioned the clip.

Other fans agreed with this sentiment and took potshots at the 82-year-old.

“This old head is crashing out,” tweeted one fan.

“I think he’s realizing the Cowboys aren’t gonna win another Super Bowl while he’s alive,” replied one NFL fan on the clip.

“Real crash out,” wrote on fan on X.

Jones purchased the Cowboys in 1989 and has delivered three Super Bowl trophies to the franchise. However, several fans suggested that his time is up and the 2014 NFL Executive of the Year should depart now.

“Can the people of Dallas remove this prohibition era mole rat from his chair already,” tweeted a fan.

“I need him OUUTTTT immediately omg,” wrote another fan.

Stephen A. Smith Calls Out Jones for His Radio Show Antics

Jones’ rant on the radio show went viral within moments, and sports broadcast personality Stephen A. Smith had plenty to say about it. On ESPN’s “First Take” show, Smith highlighted that Jones is a good friend of his and said, “I got a lot of love for him, but he has not done a good job. What he did this offseason has proven to be a dereliction of duty.”

Smith stated that Jones should apologize for his behavior on the show and it was his call to appear on the show. Jones has yet to respond to Smith or other analysts criticizing his rant on the radio show.
