“Sanders is a perfect fit for the Browns,” another added.
Some fans were also curious why Ward wasn’t included in the visit list:
“When is Cam coming to town?” one fan asked.
“Can you guys draft Cam or Shedeur so Hunter falls to the Pats at No. 4? 🙏🏽 Thanks,” another added.
“Someone very notable is missing from this list,” one fan pointed out about Ward.
“Sanders, no matter what,” another fan posted.
What Is the Browns’ Draft Strategy?
The Browns are in a tough position heading into the NFL Draft.
They already have Deshaun Watson as their starting quarterback, but his injury history and off-field concerns have created uncertainty about the team’s future at the position. However, with Watson signed to a fully guaranteed five-year, $230 million contract, the Browns’ handling of his situation will significantly impact their next moves.
If Cleveland opts to draft a quarterback at No. 2, they could take either Ward or Sanders. However, they could also stay put and select a defensive playmaker like Hunter or Carter while targeting Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe in the second or third round.
According to major mock drafts, the Browns are most likely to select either Sanders or Ward. However, a team like the Raiders could trade up and swap picks with Cleveland in an attempt to secure their own franchise quarterback.
