The two-time MVP caught everyone’s attention when CBS’s Sports Evan Washburn cornered him for a quick interview, immediately noting the brilliant chain around Jackson’s neck and saying his “preseason ice is on point.”
The flashy jewelry also caught the eye of announcers Gerry Sandusky and six-time All-Pro Rod Woodson, who couldn’t help but comment on Jackson’s expensive taste.

“The always elusive Lamar Jackson,” quipped Sandusky. “Whether you’re trying to tackle him or interview him, it’s impossible to pin him down.”
“Evan, you need to put that chain on,” Sandusky joked. “Alright, Rod, give me a jewelry estimate. What do you think the retail value of that jewelry is that Lamar (Jackson) is sporting? I’m not a jewelry guy, but I’m thinking … $150,000?”

Why Won’t Lamar Jackson Play Much This Preseason?
Jackson isn’t expected to see much time on the field during the 2025 preseason. Baltimore Ravens head coach Jon Harbaugh plans to keep his starters fresh for the regular season and wants Jackson healthy when games start counting.
The dual-threat quarterback is expected to lead the Ravens to a deep playoff run in 2025. Alongside Jackson in the backfield are all-world running back Derrick Henry (who also sat out Thursday’s game) and third-year back Keaton Mitchell. Mitchell flashed his explosive ability in the first quarter, including a 22-yard touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday night.
Meanwhile, the matchup itself told an interesting story. The Colts entered the game as six-point favorites, but the Ravens had a 24-game winning streak in the preseason that shows their depth and preparation.
Both teams entered Thursday’s contest from opposite directions. The Ravens are settled at their most important positions, especially at quarterback, while Indianapolis faces a big position battle. The Colts have to decide which former first-round pick will be their starter: Daniel Jones or Anthony Richardson.
The Colts’ next preseason game is Saturday, Aug. 16 at Lucas Oil Stadium against the Green Bay Packers. The Ravens face off against the Dallas Cowboys on the same day at AT&T Stadium.
