Katya Elise Henry, Tyler Herro’s girlfriend, built a name for herself as a former nanny turned fitness influencer. Henry gained a massive following online before stepping back to focus more on family.
Since first connecting with Herro during the NBA’s COVID-19 pause, their relationship has grown.
Katya Elise Henry Built a Fitness Empire and Became a Social Media Star
Born June 14, 1994, in Minneapolis, Henry is a fitness model and social media influencer. She attended several high schools, including Lake High School in Minnesota, and Horizon and Desert Mountain High Schools in Arizona, where she served as a cheerleading captain.
Before launching her online presence, Henry worked as a nanny. She later created her fitness brand and website, Workouts by Katya, offering workout guides. Her fitness content helped her grow to 7.5 million followers on Instagram. She also launched brands like WBK Fit, Kiss My Peach Swimwear, and partnered with EHPlabs.
“I am incredibly grateful for all the love and support I’ve received from the WBKfit community over the years, and I’ll always cherish the incredible journey we’ve shared,” she shared on Instagram. “This decision allows me to focus on new ventures that align with my evolving personal and professional goals.”
Henry and Herro began talking through social media and started dating in 2020, during the NBA shutdown. Despite their six-year age gap, the connection stuck.
Herro has expressed his love publicly on several occasions, including a birthday tribute on Instagram: “Happy Birthday to the most beautiful girl in the world. Words can’t describe how much I appreciate you… You’ve been my rock holding it down for 2 years… More life to 28 biggggg babbyyyy.”
When she turned 30, he posted again:“BABY GIRRRRRRL .. HAPPY BORN DAY . BIG DIRTY 30.”
He later added, “I APPRECIATE YOU FOR BEING YOU AND BEING BY MYSIDE THROUGHOUT ALL THIS CRAZINESS. KEEP BEIN THE LIGHT FOR LIL HARLEM AND BIG ZZ. WE LOVE YOU!!! ❤️❤️”
The Growing Herro-Henry Family
The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Zya Elise, in 2021, followed by their son, Harlem, in January 2023. While visiting NBA 2K’s House of Greatness, Herro shared his thoughts about expecting their second child, saying, “I’m feeling great.”
Herro frequently shows love for his daughter, as seen in a birthday post, “happy birthday to my TWIN!!! my baby girl is turning 3 today. keep being the light zz ❤️❤️ your daddy loves you 🤞🏼🎉”
Family clearly means everything to Herro. He regularly posts about them, like a holiday photo where the whole crew matched outfits with the caption, “merry christmas 🎄❤️”.
Henry returns the love too. On his birthday, she posted this message, “happy birthday big baby….watching you step into the daddy role, riding through the ups and downs together. you’re aging fine like wine 🍷 truly. I love you, dawggggg 4L 🤝🏽❤️🔥”
