With TNT no longer broadcasting NBA games, Reggie Miller is free. He attended the NBA Finals Game 3 with his son, Ryker, sitting courtside and soaking up the energy at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Indiana Pacers won the game 116-107 after a sensational 27-point performance from Bennedict Mathurin. In front of a rampant crowd, they took a 2-1 lead against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals.
Is the Thunder choking? With the Miller choke t-shirts running wild among the Pacers fanatics, one particular fan donned Miller’s epic choke sign t-shirt on the courtside, you guessed it right, Ryker.
Reggie Miller’s Son Wears the Epic Choke Sign T-Shirt for Game 3
During a timeout, the cameras caught Miller enjoying the game and receiving applause when the Pacers showed him on the jumbotron. With Miller acknowledging the crowd’s respect, his son pointed towards his t-shirt, which displayed Miller’s infamous choke sign. For ages, the choke sign has been a moment to remember in the NBA.

Miller carried the Pacers on his back during Game 5 of the 1994 NBA Eastern Conference Finals against the New York Knicks. He scored 25 points in the final quarter, when the Pacers trailed by 12 at one point in the game.
Thus, with the Knicks failing to close out the game and Knicks’ superfan Spike Lee trying to rally his team to the finishing line, Miller got into the banter act.
He drained a corner three-pointer and exchanged a few words with Lee. Miller then showed the choke sign, an iconic moment in the NBA. Thus, Ryker received a lot of love on social media and came in to support his father.
Tyrese Haliburton Gets Into the Choke Sign Act
Similarly, Tyrese Haliburton displayed the same celebration after his Game 1 heroics in the Conference Finals against the Knicks. Although he tied the game while thinking it was a game-winner, the Pacers point guard displayed the choke celebration to the fans at Madison Square Garden. Taking it all in, Miller gave him the nod of approval from the commentary booth.
This legendary celebration will live long in the memory of NBA fans and continues to become a trend whenever a team chokes. With the Pacers leading the series, the Thunder must win the next few games to take control.
Having Miller supporting the team from the sidelines, Haliburton was just one rebound away from a triple-double performance. He didn’t come up with a high-class display in Game 2. But in Game 3, he finished with 22 points, nine rebounds, and 11 assists. The game was a back-and-forth battle between two of the best teams in the NBA.
In the end, the Pacers took the lead with a solid performance from the bench players. Game 4 will happen on Friday, and the Pacers would want to extend the series lead to 3-1.
