After a postseason run for the ages, Tyrese Haliburton is now recovering at home following surgery for a torn Achilles.
The 25-year-old was on the verge of delivering a championship to the Indiana Pacers when disaster struck in the heartbreaking end to a storybook playoff run. Since then, both the Pacers and their fans have rallied around him, honoring his contributions and hoping for a swift recovery.

Jade Jones Shares Glimpse of Haliburton’s Recovery Support
After the nightmare of an injury, Haliburton has received non-stop love and support from the Pacers community, who are showering him with prayers, love, and flowers. A glimpse into that overwhelming support was recently shared by his girlfriend, Jade Jones, in a heartfelt Instagram story.
Jones shared a photo of a beautifully decorated console table, adorned with congratulatory messages for Haliburton and several floral arrangements, with the caption, “Ty Ty is so loved.” One vase in particular stood out to fans. The cylindrical piece featured Haliburton’s Pacers photo wrapped around it and was filled with a vibrant bouquet of yellow flowers.
Beside the flowers was a small handwritten note by Haliburton’s friend Dan Solomon. While the message could not be fully read, the name at the end was visible. This was among the multiple messages he has received across social media and in his personal life.

For those who are not familiar, Solomon is a 2017 graduate of Indiana University and now works as a fashion consultant. He’s among Haliburton’s trusted advisors for everything related to his personal branding and wardrobe.
Tyrese Haliburton participated in Dan Solomon’s Fashion Within Sports panel at Indiana University earlier this year.
As part of the panel, students had the chance to pitch designs for Tyrese to wear to a game, and tonight he wore Emma Taylor’s winning design.🔥 pic.twitter.com/yvDgkyGG1Q

Their relationship has evolved beyond the typical stylist-client dynamic. Solomon calls Haliburton “one of the most fashionable guys in the league” and sees him as a creative partner in developing his unique style and personal brand.
The two first met at Indiana University during a “Fashion Within Sports” panel, back when Haliburton had just entered the NBA. Since then, Solomon has planned personal shopping trips for him, styled his outfits for major games, and even hosted pop-up “Solo Suites” at events such as All-Star Weekend.
Jones Documents Emotional Journey
Jones has been actively documenting Haliburton’s recovery journey for fans through various posts and stories on social media. The couple, who have been together for six years, met while both were students at Iowa State University, where she was a cheerleader for the team.
In one of her most poignant posts, Jones shared an emotional message reflecting on the season and its bittersweet ending.
“What a year!!! What a bittersweet ending to it all. This team is SO special, beyond words. You have made a historic run for the Pacers that generations will be talking about!!! This season has made such a special imprint on my heart. One of the best things we have ever been a part of!!! Just know how much it meant to all of us,” Jones wrote.
Haliburton suffered the injury during Game 7 of the NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder, ending what had been a legendary playoff performance. He underwent surgery on June 24, 2025, performed by Dr. Martin O’Malley at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
