On Friday night, the Golden State Warriors hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
Despite being without Anthony Edwards, the Timberwolves were able to win by a score of 127-120.
The Warriors are just 13-13 in their first 26 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

The Warriors have had a very up-and-down start to the 2025-26 season.
They are 7-4 at home (but just 6-9 on the road).
Over their last ten games, the Warriors have gone 4-6.

Kerr has been at the helm since the 2014-15 season.
He has helped lead the Warriors to the NBA Finals six times (and they have won four titles in that span).
Via Lev Akabas of Sportico: “Steve Kerr is the highest-paid coach in the NBA, making $17.5 million a year He is trailed by Erik Spoelstra and Tyronn Lue at $15 million”
The Warriors will play their next game on Sunday when they visit the Portland Trail Blazers (in Oregon).
They are coming off a season where they lost to the Timberwolves in the second round of the 2025 NBA playoffs (in five games).
Their most recent title was in 2022.

As for the Timberwolves, they improved to 16-9 in 25 games, which has them as the sixth seed.
They will play their next game on Sunday when they host Russell Westbrook and the Sacramento Kings at the Target Center.
