Steve Kerr Made His Feelings Clear About Former Warriors Star Klay Thompson

Steve Kerr spoke about former Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson. The Warriors beat the Mavs (on Thursday).

On Thursday night, Klay Thompson and the Dallas Mavericks played the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

The Mavs lost by a score of 126-116.

Thompson is one of the most beloved players to ever play for the Warriors.

He finished the game against his former team with seven points, two rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block while shooting 3/8 from the field in 26 minutes of playing time.

After the game, Steve Kerr spoke highly of Thompson.

Kerr (h/t Warriors on NBCS): “I’ll never get used to seeing Klay on the other side. I miss Klay. I wish he was still here.”

Thompson was the 11th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft out of Washington State.

He spent the first 13 years of his Hall of Fame career with the Warriors.

During that span, Thompson made five trips to the All-Star Game (and helped the Warriors win four titles).

The Mavs are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 12-20 record in 32 games.

They are 5-5 over their last ten games (and 3-10 on the road).

Following the Warriors, the Mavs will visit the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night.

As for the Warriors, they are the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 16-15 record in 31 games.

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak.

Following the Mavs, the Warriors will play their next game on Sunday when they visit the Toronto Raptors in Canada.
