NBA Fans React To Zion Williamson’s Performance In Suns-Pelicans Game

Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans played the Phoenix Suns on Friday.

On Friday evening, the New Orleans Pelicans hosted the Phoenix Suns at the Smoothie King Center.

The Pelicans lost by a score of 115-108.

Zion Williamson finished with 20 points, eight rebounds, six assists and one block while shooting 5/10 from the field in 28 minutes of playing time.

Williamson came into the night with averages of 21.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 53.1% from the field in 15 games.

The Duke legend was the first pick in the 2019 NBA Draft after one season of college basketball.

With the loss, the Pelicans dropped to 8-24 in 32 games, which has them as the 14th seed in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak (and 6-13 at home).

 

As for the Suns, they are now 17-13 in 30 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak (and 7-8 on the road).

On Saturday, the Suns and Pelicans will play (again) at Smoothie King Center.

Williamson still remains one of the best players in the NBA (when he’s healthy).

The two-time All-Star has career averages of 24.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 58.5% from the field and 31.7% from three-point range.
