The Mavs won by a score of 113-105.

Rookie forward Cooper Flagg finished the victory with 27 points, five rebounds, five assists, three steals and one block while shooting 10/17 from the field and 2/3 from three-point range in 35 minutes.

Flagg is now averaging 19.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 48.0% from the field and 29.3% from three-point range in 39 games.

He was the first pick in the 2025 NBA Draft out of Duke.

With their victory over the Nets, the Mavs improved to 15-25 in 40 games, which has them as the 12th seed in Western Conference.

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games (and are 11-10 in 21 at home).

Following the Nets, the Mavs will play their next game on Wednesday night when they host the Denver Nuggets.

On the other side, the Nets dropped to 11-26 in 37 games, which has them as the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are in the middle of a four-game losing streak (and 6-11 on the road).

Following Dallas, the Nets will play their next game on Wednesday night when they visit Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans.
