Dončić had come into the night with averages of 34.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 46.0% from the field and 32.4% from three-point range in 19 games.
The future Hall of Famer is in his first full season playing for Los Angeles.

With their victory over Utah, the Lakers are now 19-7 in 26 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Western Conference.
They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak (and 12-3 on the road).
Following the Jazz, the Lakers will play their next game on Saturday night when they visit Kawhi Leonard and the LA Clippers in California.

As for the Jazz, they dropped to 10-16 in 26 games, which has them as the 12th seed in the Western Conference.
