Ja Morant is one of the most exciting players in recent NBA history.
The former Murray State star is currently in the middle of his seventh year playing for the Memphis Grizzlies.
That said, the fan-favorite point guard has been mentioned in a lot of trade rumors as of late.
NBA Legend Dwyane Wade Made His Feelings Clear About Grizzlies Star Ja Morant
Recently, Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade shared his feelings on Morant and the Grizzlies (via NBA on Prime, h/t Heat Central).
Wade: “The Memphis Grizzlies and Ja Morant… They in a state of confusion… Frustration shows up when clarity doesn’t. There’s no clarity right now around the organization. I think all of us sitting here, believe in Ja. We believe in his talent.”
Morant is currently averaging 19.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 7.6 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 40.1% from the field and 20.8% from three-point range in 18 games.
The former All-Star has missed each of the previous six games with an injury.

The Grizzlies are currently the 10th seed in the Western Conference with a 17-23 record in 40 games.
They have gone 3-7 over their last ten games (most recently losing to the Orlando Magic by a score of 118-111 in Germany).
The two teams will play again on Sunday (in London).

Morant will continue to be mentioned in rumors until the trade deadline next month.
During his time with the Grizzlies, they have made the NBA playoffs four times (and reached the second round once).
Last season, Morant and the Grizzlies got swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.
