New Orleans Pelicans star Dejounte Murray was once among the best point guards in the NBA.
The 2022 All-Star is coming off a year where he only appeared in 31 games after suffering a season-ending injury.
He finished the year with averages of 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 2.0 steals per contest while shooting 39.3% from the field.
Murray has yet to appear in a game this year, as he continues to recover from injury.

Murray was the 29th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft out of Washington.
He has also had stints with the San Antonio Spurs and Atlanta Hawks over ten years.
His career averages are 15.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 45.3% from the field and 34.0% from three-point range in 503 games.

As for the Pelicans, they have had a tough season.
Currently, they are the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 13-37 record in 50 games.
On Saturday night, the Pelicans will play Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center.

Murray had his best season in 2022 when he averaged 21.1 points. 8.3 rebounds, 9.2 assists and 2.0 steals per contest while shooting 46.2% from the field in 68 games for the Spurs.
